Heroes For Kiddos and Widows

Thanks for taking a glimpse into the lives of some families we've had the joy to serve by clicking on the links to the right. The hope of many widows, kiddos and single moms is now restored and their faith in God has increased because somebody cares!
 

Read about Mary who was brought to our attention by Meal on Wheels because she is too sick and poor to pay for her desperate home repairs. Think about the fatherless kiddos who live in 1 out of every 2 households and who thrived on the attention given by our male contractors and volunteers when we restored Annie's house. The blessing is ours from knowing that fatherless kiddos recieve mentoring while we are repairing their home. Or during an outing with our volunteers at a Texas Ranger’s baseball game, Christmas for Kiddos or Car Maintenance Day for their single mom. The need for positive male role models in these kiddo’s lives inspired us to give them a “Dad for a Day” at our 1st Kiddos with Minnows fishing outreach next year.
 

And it was a joy to partner with Six Flags over Texas and the community, to provide exterior repairs or full renovations for disabled widows like Joanie Bradshaw. And a door opened to Alzheimer’s of North Texas to provide home repairs for their referrals of Alzheimer’s widows.
 

To restore lives by serving others shows the grace of God to the world! When volunteers come together in unity to help fatherless children and widowed women, He gets the glory.
